A First Look at a fun new slot by Konami, Great Moai. The game is a Dragon’s Law type variant (randomly added wilds that occur more frequently in the bonus), but there are some twists and the presentation is cool. Moai’s (the big statues that you find on Easter Island) are stacked wilds. They are found on all 5 reels. 3 scattered bonus symbols trigger free games. Before or after any spin, the Wild feature may be triggered. Up top, a random number of normal and gold statues drop in. Gold statues are 2x multipliers and I’ve seen up to 3 land. They will then hop in a circle and fall down to the screen and move to the left. After they land, each gold statue multiplies wins by 2x. I think the max is 8x since I didn’t see more than 3 golds land for anyone. During the bonus, this feature occurs more frequently. It seems it’s possible to get a full-screen of wilds at 8x which would be a handpay on a 40-line machine. The feature occurs fairly frequently and it feels like a low-medium volatile slot.
