In this video… I POORLY show the redemption process of claiming a FREE or discounted room through MGM games…. moreso MGM MyVegas Slots.

The cool thing about this game is you gain rewards points you can put towards things like:
a. free one night room stay at participating MGM hotels
b. discounted 25% off room rates
c. BOGO deals on buffet or food

NOTE: discounted rates are usually for Monday-Thurs. Also, discount does NOT include resort fee nor TAXES.. which is an extra $39-$60!!!

Vegas Hotels include: Bellagio, Aria, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, Park MGM, Mirage, New York New York, Luxor, Excalibur.
There are MANY OTHER discounts too!!

The process of redeeming a discounted room or free room is as follows:
1. Open an app like MyVegas Slots … play and get rewards points (remember to create a game account through facebook.. so you don’t lose those points!!!)

2. From the home screen,… click on “Rewards” at the bottom center

3. Scroll through the different rewards….. In my Case.. I selected Mandalay Bay… then scrolled to the 25% off room rates or Free One Complimentary Night!
It costs 7500 points for the 25% discount.. or 70000 points for the free night stay.

4. When you click on the deal… it lists the conditions/details.. you have to check mark “I have read and agree to all Terms and Conditions”. Click on Next

5. A new screen will appear requesting “You must use your passport /ID Legal Name” and give a valid email address. Enter this and click “Confirm”

6. VOILA.. you receive a confirmation screen with the REDEMPTION CODE and message about how the instructions will be EMAILED to you. This is important since there is a link in the email that allows you to redeem the code.
NOTE: Now is a good time to take a screenshot… but
NOTE2: The redemption code can also be found under bottom right of app “WALLET” and click on “Pending” reward.

7. Wait for an email that says “Reward Purchase Confirmation ABXYZ” where ABXYZ is the redemption code.
In the email is a link to redeem the code. BUT FIRST.. you need to create an MGMRewards account (see email): https://www.mgmresorts.com/en/mgm-rewards.html

8. Create or use your MGMresorts MGM rewards account:

9. From the email.. click on the Redemption Link “Click to Redeem”
or… use the web URL: View your Redemption Link Online

10. You will be taken to MGM’s reservation website.

11. At the reservation site.. choose amongst dates Mon-Thurs.. they will either have a special designation… (for discounted rooms… you will see the price at the bottom).
For a free complimentary night: You can only reserve one night! You will have to create a separate reservation if you want to stay additional nights.
For discounted rooms: You can stay multiple days… but you can’t include NON discounted nights like weekends.

12. When you click on the VALID dates.. click on Next.

13. This takes you to the Room Selection screen. Find a room type you want and then click on Next.

14. You will now be at the “Review Reservation” Screen where you can add options like parking or early checkin for an additional COST. Click on “Next” to proceed to the next payments screen.
NOTE: resort fee will cost around $39-49 plus tax. There is also a room tax!

15. At the “Payment Information” screen.. you will enter your CC (credit card) info to complete the transaction.

16. You should now receive a confirmation email with subject “Confirmation Room Reservation – HOTEL NAME”
In the email will be the expected costs… bring this when you go to check in … and everything will be handled fine and dandy! VOILA.. that’s it.
